San Diego Beach Challenger Cup

USA Teqball hit the sand for the first beach tournament in San Diego at the Elite Athlete Training Center where many Olympians have had intensive training and now Teqball was there to host a high level professional competition. While we've seen many challenger cups take place across the United States, most of them are on indoor courts or turf. The change in surface has a few slight changes in rules allowing for bicycle kicks and you can bet we saw more than a few in this 2 day event! 

Day 1 was open doubles while day 2 highlighted the ladies for an all female tournament. Spread across the large sand area overlooking the ocean was quite epic and the intensity of the games did not disappoint either. There was representation with a few teams from Joga Teq, San Diego Teqball Club, Bella Teq, Teqballers, SoCal Teqers and many more! We loved every second of it.

July 31 (Doubles) Results:
